PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The common challenge of the cooperation operation "Mitigating climate change in agriculture through social innovations" is to contribute to reducing the consequences and adapting to climate change in rural areas through adapted agricultural practices, the development of new products and green services, and social innovations.
The operation with activities of presenting adaptation of agricultural practices, joint market appearance, development of new products and green services, and social innovation of integrating vulnerable target groups contributes to reducing the consequences and adapting to climate change in rural areas. The operation addresses the issue from the Rural Development Program 2014-2020, which is the need to adapt agriculture to climate change.
The vision of the LAG "Good People" is based on sustainable development, development of opportunities for maintaining or acquiring new, higher-quality jobs in rural areas, with an emphasis on green jobs, which means creating conditions for improving the quality of life in the LAG area to achieve economic goals and goals in the field of human resources development and social welfare, while preserving the elements that contribute to the recognition of the LAG area.
An important part of the vision is improving the social inclusion of all the population, especially the vulnerable target groups.
Expected results and activities carried out:
- Common marketing communication story of ZELENA MREŽA
- A shared website for providers to participate in the market together,
- Joint online promotion of providers based on a joint marketing communication story
- Development of two new products and development of one new cooperation business for local producers
- Purchase of dryer equipment.
- We want to include 100 people in the implementation of the study circle, the open day, and the training.
- With the implemented integration pilot, we will connect various providers, develop a new product, and approach its joint marketing.
- With the implemented pilot of the Renkovci multi-generational space, we will provide new equipment and content for the already existing multi-purpose space.
- The presentation of new circular economy content, new technological approaches to land processing to reduce climate change, and the development of new products and the management of their sales in the local market will benefit small suppliers.
